Nice analysis. Athena and QuickSight look like reasonable additions.

AWS is very late to the game with machine learning services, and well behind Microsoft, Google and IBM. The back and forth on deep learning frameworks — first DSSTNE, now MXNet — suggests strategic drift and a lack of clear leadership. They have also lost top analytics talent. Doubtful that scale makes up that.
