Salesforce complained that this analysis didn’t talk about how Salesforce spent more than two years organically developing a highly automated data-management and machine-learning platform to serve as the backbone of Einstein. I plead that the company didn’t talk about it either in early briefings about Einstein or at Dreamforce. Another excellent roundup. You note that BeyondCore needs at least 10K rows to produce significant insights. That’s not the same, of course as 10K customers, since customers can make multiple transactions.

The bigger issue is the number of variables. The number of simple tables and charts needed to explore a dataset grows exponentially with the number of variables that you can combine. You don’t need something like BeyondCore if you have only a few fields to examine.

On that note, a client evaluating BeyondCore tried to upload a table with a million rows and 100 columns. It crashed BeyondCore’s evaluation server. The client did not buy.
